Teaching activities
The museum offers a broad range of teaching activities for schools of all grades, including an inclusive and interactive visit to the archaeological area and the surrounding natural area.
Near the “shaman’s hut” is a small village with three reconstructed huts designed for educational purposes, reproducing a realistic copy of a pile-dwelling home.
The village is an ideal way to get an understanding of the whole archaeological process, from the artefacts on show in the museum, the area where they were found, through to realistic reproductions that can be observed and touched first-hand.
The autumn teaching season runs from September to November, then from spring until June.
In November, teaching activities are available for a discounted rate of €5 per person.
Outdoor activities are replaced by indoor activities if the weather is bad.
